At Jaw Drop Games I worked on a new IP at the start of my time and here I worked on:
Due to there being an NDA on the project, I can only state my responsibilities on the projects.
Creating a very rough proof of concept for these mechanics.
Communicating with Animation and Programming departments to effectively communicate my idea and evaluate if it is feasible.
Player and character mechanics by documenting the mechanics on confluence and visual diagrams on Miro.
For the last few months of the job I was working as a solo developer for Jaw Drop creating a spinoff title of the main IP. For this I covered a wide range of disciplines including Game Design, Level Design, Animation, Cinematics, Environment Design, U.I, Blueprints Scripting, Audio and Testing. For this I had to be independent and learn new skills outside of my discipline in order to create a prototype.
