Technical Game Designer

Previous Experience:

At Jaw Drop Games I worked on a new IP at the start of my time and here I worked on:

  • Due to there being an NDA on the project, I can only state my responsibilities on the projects.

  • Creating a very rough proof of concept for these mechanics.

  • Communicating with Animation and Programming departments to effectively communicate my idea and evaluate if it is feasible.

  • Player and character mechanics by documenting the mechanics on confluence and visual diagrams on Miro.

For the last few months of the job I was working as a solo developer for Jaw Drop creating a spinoff title of the main IP. For this I covered a wide range of disciplines including Game Design, Level Design, Animation, Cinematics, Environment Design, U.I, Blueprints Scripting, Audio and Testing. For this I had to be independent and learn new skills outside of my discipline in order to create a prototype.
