Here is a one page doc focusing on how RE4 uses fortune to create and relieve tension and how this is applied during combat.

The Last of Us 2 Melee Combat

Melee combat in the Last of Us 2 felt very simple and basic and this is an attempt to make it more involved for the player. This looks at it from a rhythmic perspective and how different attacks can modify melees either being slower, faster, stronger or weaker and to create openings for the bigger attacks.

My personal goal for this was to experiment with a different communication style with less text and more images and diagrams as a way for people to understand my work without having to read paragraphs of information.
